Hello All
Hi All
I’ve just been introduced too the forum by your longstanding member Roy Mawbey, and can’t believe that I’ve not found this site before, thanks Roy, I must have my head in the sand. My interest with classic Porsche has been renewed over the past three years after, firstly completing the restoration on my Son’s early beetle and now in the shape of a 1960 B-T5 coupe Outlaw.
This site looks just active as the one across the pond which is where Roy found me lurking today. Hope too meet some of you at some of events/shows this year.

Hi Helen
Right then where do I start, I have an original 1970s Outlaw brought over from the sunshine state of California, used as in the early seventies as race car; Time Trials and Auto Cross. Engine is a 1720 with counterweighted crankshaft and full flow oil filtration as well as a few other internal bits it holds its own looks standard though. Transmission a few mods too the ratios for the power band, which are coupled up to a ZF Ltd slip Dif. Brake drums have been swapped for disks to aid with stopping. 7 inch wide wheels etc etc. I have spent far too much time and money recently fine fettling the car and I’d post some photos if I knew how. However as always I’m now after the next project, got my eye on a Speedster at the moment.

Hi Phil,
Well, that didn't take you long to join us.
Very pleased to have you along. I might say I am actually a much more junior member than many here who have been scribing away for many a year!
I am sure you will find many with the same interest as you. I know I have!
Roy

Its stern end, excuses the other photo, it made my monitor look diminutive as well.
