Like this idea, if it was a Targa, kites out the roof, steering the car with you feet, sat on the Targa Bar

Ok, just being overly polite;964RS wrote:Genuine question: why not share opinion here?miles5 wrote:I looked at the yellow car in the Spring when the owner was looking to move it on. If anyone wants to know more feel free to pm.

Here goes;
I would describe it very much as a 10 ft car - doesnt bear very close inspection.
It is all numbers matching T Lux - so has sunroof and elc windows.
The body has been resprayed and a little botched I think. There is rust in the rear pillars which is quite typical of a sunroof car. If I remember there was rust in the doors and the b posts looked slighly odd suggesting either filler or poor restoration work. The car also had sill covers badly reattached which I thought were probably hiding more issues. I think the front pan was also rusty. None of the seals (ie wing to body, bumper to body, sunroof) were present, presumably left off the when the car was reassembled.
Mechanically seemed fine, although on the test drive with the owner, it back fired badly, but this was low fuel I believe.
If you want a resto it is a good base. If you want to use it off the bat I think it will deteriorate quite quickly.
Hope that helps, any other questions, just ask.
