What do you do for a living?
Have seen this on other single marque, and more generic car forums, is always quite interesting, thought may also be interesting for a perceived high end marque, do any of the stereotypes of classic and/or porsche owners hold true?
So what do you do for a living?

Started a 6 year mechanical engineering apprentiship in 1966, moved over to the drawing board in '72. Spent 11 years designing special purpose fork lift trucks, then a couple of years working on submarines, 3 years on switchgear and finally in 1988 set up my own engineering design business. Decided in October 2008 enough was enough and took early (semi) retirement. Still doing a bit for some of my old customers, that and making model 914's and building a model railway.

spent over 20 years as an estate agent or selling new homes (at one stage being sales and marketing manager for one of the largest building companies in the UK) but with Lazzas Job moved us every few years as he climbed the RR ladder.
I got fed up with continually re-building my own career so when we moved to the midlands i took a job working for Tescos.
i feel i have now earned the right to be a kept women. and although sometimes i get bored and very lonely it's really not a bad life.
