Request for RS Diesels address or contact details

Post by seqfal »

Gents,

I have an original RS 2.7 (019) MFI pump that has a RS Diesels calibration tag. I understand that they are no longer trading ? Is this correct because the numbers on the tag would not work and I have tried the web with no success.

Does any one have contact details or know where any of the principals are now as I would like to decode what’s on the tag or check out the Pump history\set up.

Best regard

Mike

Always wondered what happened to RS Diesels myself. So Tower Porsche bought all the RS Diesels tooling then :?: Apparently Tuthills also bought a load of tooling for overhauling MFI pumps. Trouble is I understood it's one thing having the tooling but the skills needed to use it properly take some years to acquire. Craftmanship cannot be bought as I have seen way to often in aviation. I wonder what sort of work they are turning out :?: had heard most people overhauling pumps are sending them back to Germany.

Fred has just re-built & recalibrated my MFI . Thoroughly recommend him. Quality piece of work, good price and deep knowledge.
