Sun visor help!

Post by roboguy »

Hi guys,

I've just taken delivery of my car in New Zealand and it survived the trip over from the UK perfectly much to my relief :)

The car has just gone through it's NZ compliance check and they have let it through on the condition I get a sun visor ASAP (they were both missing when I purchased it).

I've just run NLA in the US and they don't have any and couldn't give me any idea when they would have them in stock.

Does anyone have an idea on what I could use as a substitute in the meantime - I've been looking at this VW split screen one on ebay.

Does anyone have any lying around that they don't want (one in a million chance I know!!).

Cheers!

i have just had the same trouble finding 356a **cab sun visors. Mike Smith from PR Services managed to find me some.

later i spoke to Andy Prill of Maxted-page & Prill and he said he could have got me some had i asked, so it might be worth giving him a call.

they are not cheap but, they do make driving in bright sun much more comfortable. make sure you get the brackets & screws with them.

** i believe coupe ones are diffrent. stoddards might have some
