356A Coupe

Post by steve356 »

Hi All,

I'm still looking for a decent driving A Coupe to buy so if anyone is considering selling, or knows of anything for sale, I would most grateful if you could get in touch.

I have spoken to some of the usual suspects .... Roger Bray, Paul@PRS, Lee M-P, Robert Gant ...... but any other leads gratefully received.

Many thanks,
Steve

have you thought about this one at PR service. then you could get it finished to your own specifications & your'll have the advantage of knowing its been done properly.

Thanks Helen ..... not really after another project so looking for a decent driver that is essentially sound but that I can tinker with and improve.

I'd highly recommend calling Ritchie at Karmann Konnection too - I got my 58A from him a couple of years back and it's been superb. I'm using it as my daily driver again now the weather is drier.

Hi Steve
not wishing to be too forward but what is your budget and is there any variation on the "A" theme you would not want.

Oh
add to that the trim , and engine rebuild , general reassembly and the brain damage ,stress etc the paragon cars don't seem too bad.

I agree the with Dakota that the Paragon cars are better value for money and less brain damage.

The RHD C for sale by Porker passion on the for sale thread is brilliant vfm, and would make an excellent driver - I know everyone loves an A, but that C is very good at £24k, and very Chic in grey on stock wheels etc.. I'd love to buy it and drive it around wearing a homberg and a 3 piece tweed suit.

Budget is around £30k so falls short of the Paragon cars and not enough to restore the PRS car (not that I want to either! ..... been there and need a rest!)
Definitely want an A rather than a B or C (had a C before).

Johnny? Would you mind posting a link to this car? I have a tweed suit just
dying to be seen in such a 356. :)

Cheers mate.

Don't worry - just seen it on the DDK (thought it was external) thanks for bumping the ad.
