RSK Rep - in DDK?
Came across these photos of an RSK rep (SUR 230J) I used to have and wondered if anyone recognises it? Sold about 8 years ago to fund finishing (well getting on the road at least) 911.
Spec as I remember it. Built by Autofarm in 80's for someone with a lot of cash. I was 2nd or 3rd owner, and it had never been properly shaken down. GP Spyder body on shortened pan, 356B running gear, 912 motor to Super 90 spec. Actually registered as Porsche using the 356 chassis plate! Don't know where the reg came from. Exhaust system was an equal length 4 into 1 straight through - literally nothing! An amazing sound, it made your ears bleed and could be heard from a mile away. Friendly MOT tester after some years insisted on adding some Beetle tail pipes to try and quieten it. Great fun but quite scary really, it was always threatening to swap ends, and front would always lock up even under modest braking.
Is it still out there?

I had a GP Spyder with a 150 BHP 2.1 litre engine. No matter what I did to the brakes I couldn't stop the fronts locking up - even with a brake compensator. Standing quarter miles were very quick, but corners were another matter!

Fred went apoplectic when I turned up in my RSK replica to a Docklands PCGB display, but only after I had left, and then directed his displeasure at the RO who organised the event! I was informed by official PCGB letter that I couldn't go to any PCGB events in the RSK. I was told that I could park in the pub car park on club nights. Generous eh?
