Recognise this 356?

Post by middlefour1 »

Pictures were taken at VW Action back in 1980, the first time the show was at Stoneleigh. Is it the genuine article or not?

I had a 356 back then & remember the car (but can't remember who owned it).

I think it was a late pre-A Cabriolet that had received the later teardrop rear lights & a few other mods.

I was just sorting out a load of old negs and found these, nice to know it's still around. I always forget about the DVLA search, thanks Derek. What about that lovely radio in the centre. If the owner is out there, I will send the pictures on.

Sorry Guys - it is another one of my projects

It was NOT as good as it looks in these photos and referring to Lukes Question (in another thread) about what to pay for a project - I am already into this one for £45,000 with another £15,000/£20,000 to go

Steve, - I would luv copies of the Photos or the Negs and always happy to pay whatever things costs
