So out of interest what was up with the seats :?:

They are comfy once you squash into them - it's just that my arse has spent too much time plonked on a chair rather than doing exercise (along with the rest of my body) in recent years, so is a bit bigger than it should be!

I found that gravity and bumpy roads improved the situation the more miles we drove... until I had to get out to open a gate when Mr Taysom went [ahem] green roading
2006 RHD 997 Carrera (but DDK remains in my heart - also now no longer)
1972 LHD 2.4T with '73 2.4T CIS motor - gone to a new DDK home
1994 RHD 993 Carrera - gone!
1968 LHD 911L - was the Wife's but now in new hands :-(

 D'oh - forgot

You wouldn't recognise her now - completely different motor after a lot of work (and dough!) but worth every penny. I still reckon it's the quickest, best driving early car I've ever been in ;)

Why don't you bring your new one and have a blat 'oop motorway?

P
Definately will Phil. Mel Spear collected today and is delivering Monday - just need to get completely checked over and get bumper repainted that has been damaged during shipping :( ...and then you're on!

I miss that car too !!

It was me that made the 'upgrade' to the rear pipes, thereby creating one of the best sounding cars I've ever had the privilege to drive.

She looks fabulous....

Looking good as ever mate and I love the change from red to green.
