Just got it off the trailer last evening and did begi slowly to take stuff out to asses the amount of work having to do to it.

There are some rust that needs attention and also in the floorpan so there is just one way
Start stripping the car out and get it cleaned out. summer coming soon.

Hmm okay here we go.

There's something rotten in the state of England???
Found out that the reason for the car having a lot of trouble starting was mainly due to ...

And believe me i am not lying....:

The earth cable connected under the bonnet was with a Plus connecting size large..??
And the one on the wiring harness was with a small negative one??

On top the battery installed was of the opposite version and therefore installed negative to positive and viceversa ????

So far so good.
Got that temp fixed and charged a battery but am now in the process of changing the exhaust and trying to get the petrol pump to work.
Think i'll end up with a electric one instead.

But thats the least of my worries ...
There's a good few hours in cleaning out the floorpan and going throug it.

So here we go , more work.

Gotta get going.. need it out for the saeson in april....

Okay ...
Here we go , a lot have been done the last few months and i only updated my danish porfile in the Early911.dk forum that Paul "Red" has started.

Hmm how come it took a brit to start a decent site in Denmark ????

Well, well .. works and thats the most important thing.

Anyways mates and matesses.!

Following has been doen ...
All interior has been pulled out, Floorpans has been repaired with hand roled pieces of 1,2mm to match the original floor.
Floors treated and painted with durable paint from Esbjerg Machinery Coating, last for a long long time.
All carpets have been pulled, cleaned and cleaned again.
New sounddampening material and new under polstry before clueing in the whole lot and making it fit nice and neat.
All vinyl pieces have been removed and cleaned if they were in good nick.
Badly damaged pieces have been replaced , dash and so on (black ones) and the rest will be done next winter.
Door locks been attende to
Gear link bush kits replaced both front and back - Thanks To Nick Moss.!
Entire front beam and shocks have been taken apart and sandblasted, zink primed and coated with black Esbjerg.
New Brake discs front and the rear cleaned and redone. Complete new hoses and lines and so all over.
New shocks in front hood and light changed for Danish MOT.
Engine had fuelpump primed and refitted , new exhaust fitted, 1st change of oil
New tank stol and front cross member has been purchased and is the only body work left to do now.
When they are in all there is left to do is replace frontbeam and shocks , fit brakes and 4 early fuchs and og i go....

Next winter is body and paint time

I think i'll go for an all red racing style with red carpets to ..
Got my red seat belts in last night and got the last seat repaired for the summer and cleaned. Polised the chrome to.

And with the new black vinyl on the dash it looks more like and vintage clean interier , still not like new which i'd hate anyways.

Just a few pics of the newly apolstred dash ...

Hard but fun work ..





i'll put in a pic of the damaged one late.. just so the different shows.
And after a day or two the vinyl settled in much more nicely
