Hi, having previously been a VDubber and now a brand newbie to DDK and the Porsche scene with my recent purchse of Matt Swann's '67 912 http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16135 I am hoping to make this event along with a couple of friends in their VWs. Not sure if I'll be there for the entire weekend but would love to show the car if poss.

I'll keep an eye out for any arrangements you guys make as it'd be great to meet up with some poeple and share some 912 knowledge!

Does anyone know if you have to wear a crash helmet if driving a 914 down the strip at santapod?

Not sure how the car is classed ? its not a tin top but its not a convertible?

depends how i feel over the weekend but may give her a blast down the stip and really see how slow she is against the beetles these days.

I think you need a helmet if your car runs sub 15's but apart from that you should be OK.
