Workshop clearout some reductions- Available at swapmeet

Post by AndrewSlater »

25/10 Less than a week to the swapmeet! - have added a few more items and made some reductions to prices.
Feel free to make me a fair offer on items.

All items can be collected from near Southampton, or I can post where feasible at extra cost.
Also happy to hand over items at the DDK swapmeet at the end of the month at Greatworth Classics near Banbury Sunday 31st October.

Descriptions first - photos where I have them at the end.

Can I ask that we have all requests for parts within this thread first, followed by PM to save any arguments.

If you need better photos or more information please let me know.
Payment in cash on collection or at the swap meet, or Paypal friends and family for items to be posted.

Item 7) A pair of sugar scoop lights, refurbished and fitted with H4 lamps. These were restored as part of my 1974 restoration and swapped out after a year or so use.
They are complete with bulbs and seals, ready to fit ( passed the MOT fine last they were fitted ). £200 the pair REDUCED TO £150

Item 8 ) A spare pair of H4 7" inserts identical to those fitted to item 7) £25 pair REDUCED TO £20

Item 10) New old stock Bosch black coil. Note it is in Audi packaging. I was sold it as a 0221121006 equivalent it looks identical - but not sure it is exactly identical spec.
Part number 0221121008. Never used. £80 REDUCED TO £60

Item 11) A Bosch aftermarket electronic ignition module and coil. All made in Germany. No signs of use on the two parts. The part number of the module is 0227051021 What you see is what you get £60 REDUCED TO £40

Item 12) Front suspension for a SWB 911/912. Removed from my '66 912. When I did a rolling restoration I bought a second set that I refurbed and then fitted to the car.
The intention was to refit this at some point as it was in much better condition than the replacement set - but that never happened.
Includes Auxiliary Support Bar, both Wishbones, both torsion bars, both torsion bar adjusters with original bolts ( and new replacements ), both support struts with nuts and new bolts, both bush washers, cap covers and new circlips.
Just needs bushing and you could use as is, or send off for powder coating. Everything shown as item 12) £400 - REDUCED TO £350.

Item 13) Brand new pair of balljoints for SBW 911/912. Currently £80 each from Carpoint. £120 the pair. REDUCED TO £100

Item 17) Intermediate shaft with size '0' gear marked 901.105.235.1R. £60

Item 18) Rear Bumper end caps for a SWB car £20 pair

Item 26) Original 1974 Tan/Black interior with tan carpets set in great condition, removed from my '74 911. All seats, door and rear panels, parcel shelf and carpet pieces. £1500

Item 27) New unused pulley half 90160342101 (£22+ new) - £10

Item 28) - Brand New BERU set of ignition leads. Bought my 911, again lost, replaced, found. Part number 91160901007
Fit 911 2.7, 3.0 and 930 3.3L 75-89. Currently £174 at Design 911. - £80

Item 31) Piston pins ( wrist pins ) NOS Genuine Mahle 22 x 58mm. Check compatibility but I think they generally fit 2.4/2.7/3.0 engines.
I removed one from the paper wrapping for the photo. £120 for 6 - I have 12 in total.

Item 33) I have a new left side wheel arch liner for a 997 GT3, part number 997 504 123 90. Bought in error when I had my 997C4S. Currently £177+ to buy new. Can PM a photo if helpful. How does £50 sound?

Item 34) I have a pair of original 997 Gen 2 LED rear lights. They have the usual crack in the lense that allows moisture in. I swapped them out for new ones many years ago at great expense, but these could be repaired, ppf'd or used to fix other units. The both electrically worked when I removed them from the car a few years ago and have been stored in a dry loft. Just trying to make space and could be very useful to someone else. Again happy to PM photos to anyone interested. BARGAIN £50 pair.

Item 1) Old steering wheel that was fitted to my '73 914 before I reinstated the original. I think the value is in the boss more than the wheel Price £20 REDUCED TO £10

Item 16) The back entry unit is RESERVED for Ian - Payed and handed over - many thanks
Item 16) The top entry unit is RESERVED for RobFrost - Payed and handed over - many thanks

Item 19) Rear bumper from my '66 912, has some dings and surface rust but solid. £30 (or £60 if you want the patina look)
Item 19) The rear bumper is RESERVED for Ian - Payed and handed over - many thanks

Item 20) NPR Big Bore kit - cast iron cylinders with pistons. This is the set of P/Cs I recently removed from my 912 after less than 1000 miles as the rings weren't bedding correctly.
The person who had built the small block before me had fitted the rings with the wrong gap orientation.
I suspect that with a new set of rings these would see service again, which is probably what I should have done and saved a fortune. £30 to a good home.

Item 24) Two late 356 / early 911 seats. Each seat includes base with runners, spring set, backs and mostly all padding. One back is still trimmed the other parts are not.
Included are an assortment of fixings, and one pair of hinges for one seat as shown.
Note I believe both seats are the same hand, but the slider point can be swapped over on one to make a left/right pair if required. £250 for the two( could split )
Item 24) Both seats RESERVED for MikeyC, Payed and handed over - many thanks

Item 25) Brand new Southbound carpet set for a LHD 74-89 car still boxed. Made for an IB SC in genuine Porsche Cognac brown. Just checked latest pricing is £778 ex VAT from Southbound. Clashed with my Signal Orange so bought a black carpet instead - probably should have dyed this one black in hindsight. If Cognac brown is the colour is for you then a BARGAIN £120
Sorry no photo to hand - but happy to get some if anyone is interested.
Item 25) RESERVED for Flat 6 - kindly payed now shipped

Item 29) Pair of H4 911 Headlight surrounds - not concourse but solid and probably need a polish. As seen - £25
Item 29) RESERVED for g3ngs2, Payed and handed over - many thanks

.

Just some info for clarification Andrew - the Momo hub (item 6) - if an '0231'- fits '75-on 911 models as the early hub fits 911 models up to '7/'74.

Also, the 3 steel wheels are 5 1/2 in wide not 5 ...

Thanks for the clarification on the hub Andy that would explain a lot.
As for the wheels I knew the size but my brain typed the wrong thing - must try harder!
Thanks again and will amend descriptions ( and try harder )

Can you please reserve the NOS black coil for me? I'll check tonight to see if it's the right part number for my car.

Thanks.

Will do - yes double check it carefully - it seems to be listed differently in various cross references.

Unfortunately, this is not the part number which I need for 2.2 MFI.

Not sure what model the 006 is for.

Sorry.

No problem Ian, I will unreserve it.
I suspect you will need a 0221121001 ( the 0221121006 is the same electrical spec just bespoke connector for the single plug used from '74 for a short time )
I think you can use a '006 in place of a '001, but not the other way round ( if that makes sense ).

.

The '006' coils had the 2 low tension terminals close together (rather than the the normal layout where they're on opposite sides of the HT terminal) - so maybe the wiring loom utilised a single 'plug' for these two connections.
