After accidently throwing away my rockers and shafts etc I'm looking for a set for my 1970 2.2, although I think they're the same from 65- 89.
Regards Stefan.

Re: Engine case machining
Also took my 1970 case to Cranford Classics (I live in East Devon so not far). Had it shuffled pinned, case savers, piston squirters and oil bypass mod. This was a few years ago. Case savers are the preferred way instead of time serts.

I woulldn't trust her to let it go at that Rob. Maybe it's time to set up some covert cctv. It's always sad when neighbours fall out, no one wins.

Tacho intermediate unit
I'm after a tacho intermediate unit also known as a ballast unit for my 1970 911e. Part no.0227 990 001. I know this is a rare piece of kit, but hoping someone has one lying around.
Thanks Stefan.
Thanks Stefan.

Re: floor colour - 1970T
I don't understand this as my 69 December built 911e's floor has never been touched . On removing it the floor was black I think from the deadening, but grey green underneath no body colour. You could see the imprint of the hexagon pattern left by the deadening on the floor. I have seen the floor pa...

Rob, If you pm me your email address I can send you some photos. I'm no good at posting photos on the forum. It's not body colour under the sound deadening.
Stefan.

Re: floor colour - 1970T
JohnM car is correct. My RHD 1970 911e build date 01/12/1969, vin 9110200175, had original interior, trunk and engine bay. The only difference being the trunk was lightly sprayed completely black over body colour. Note the floor deadening is sprayed body colour.

According to Brett Johnsons book electric windows were not offered on SWB cars. They were fitted to cars in January 1969.

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
Never seen one of these before. A Wells. Looked very much like a rebodied Elise. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220713/2e81ebbd91b71035c9cd179089dc4c02.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220713/170a4537a7881f16b6cac9badae3ee9b.jpg Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk Looks like it's based o...

Re: Last few bits for 911s 1971
1971 MY should have a fibre cover on the relay/ circuit board in the engine compartment held on by a knurled thumb screw. 1970 MY does not have a cover.
