Re: rear LED bulbs and electrics

That sounds very similar to what happened with mine when I put them in the back of the 993RS. When I fitted one, the brake light worked fine. When I fitted both they didn't work at all and the chappie explained it very similar to your 1,2,3. One thing I did notice also was that one LED was glowing s...

Re: Classic Autowerks ‘Ultimate Shift Rod Bushing’

When I fitted mine it was very stiff and I struggled to get 4th gear, so I took it off and with a Dremel sanded the inside ever so slightly, refitted it, fit was still quite tight and hey presto, it works fine now

993 Windscreen Leak

When it rains, my 993 leaks at the bottom corner fo the windscreen on the passenger side. Anybody know of a fix for this?
Can you remove the outer seal, apply a sealant around the windscreen & refit the seal?
Would a new outer seal solve this?

Re: O/T Road bike recommendations

After speaking to a couple of people in the know I bought a Giant Contend SL Disc, slightly over your budget but my limited riding skills I find it a good bike

Re: Road tripping to the Dolomites

Just have to let them go, you always catch up (eventually!). The quicker cars on our trip would have a bit of a squirt on the autobahn, but we all got back together. Primarily at the side of the road after JP lost a rear tyre… https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230608/3d3e5f3259dd92ae9aab28562169a7...

Re: Road tripping to the Dolomites

I love reading reports like this, keep them coming. On the B500, on a trip to Stuttgart a couple of weeks ago it was the worst road we went on. It was a tick in the box, I knew I would be disappointed and it had cameras, but I couldn't believe the last few miles into Baden Baden it was 50kph. So bo...

Re: Renewing Brake Master Cylinder

I have to fit a new MC too - never done it before, or bled brakes before! Sounds like fun! I don't see a seal on the parts diagrams, where the MC mounts to the bulkhead, but I feel like it should have one - can anyone say for certain whether it needs a seal please? Thanks for reading and ho...

Job done, brakes are like night and day now, from very spongy to very hard pedal. Off for a drive now to try them out

Re: Renewing Brake Master Cylinder

I have about 4 times now, still no better. Has the calipers refunded last year, pedal was fine before that but don’t seem to be able to get it back

No leaks evident anywhere, so thought good place to start would be the master cylinder

Renewing Brake Master Cylinder

Going to replace the brake master cylinder on the S as I don't seem to be able to get a firm pedal anymore. Before you ask, done brake bleed several times, calibers refurbed so thinking its the master cylinder. So my question, when you fit the new one, do you need to put some brake fluid in it first...
