I’d imagine all the panels will be painted separately but I’ll be asking for doors, bonnet, wings and engine lid to be final fitted before it comes back so I don’t have to disturb anything.
They will be and ... they will be.

Re: Flying lessons in the blue sky...

Lovely: I always used to like the vintage stuff and did several including Ben Buckle Majestic Major that I flew for quite a while. Plus a bit of free flight with ED 1.5cc diesel and a Irvine Mills .75 Replica that was rather sweet.

I think some are still in the loft actually.

Re: Flares....

Hello strangers, thank you for the lovely comments and most of all thank you to Darren for everything. I have to say I am very much looking forward to seeing the shell go into paint. As we finished it in my little home workshop Darren's pics are really the first time I've really been able to see it ...

Re: G Wagen on demo

I have this for a week's demo, very impressed so far. Considering changing my defender and not convinced with the positioning of the new one. Pretty sure with the right tyres on this it would go anywhere. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49494300597_5ab1a73a72_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com...

Harry's Farm is brilliant, and now actual farming is never mentioned on the Archers, has become my main source of farming info

Re: How to light a garage space?

I can't suggest what to fit at your place Graham, but can confirm it's an upgrade well worth doing. I've just replaced the dull, filthy old flu tube ceiling lights at the workshop. As it's got a suspended ceiling, they were 595x595 4x18W tube units. I was running nine units, supplemented with variou...

Re: OT: MoT on the check engine light

It's in black and white and depends on the registration date, roughly March 2003. Before that it's simply the actual emissions. Crops up all the time on the A2OC club forum as the FSi's never seem to keep their EML's off for long. I've got one that's had its light on for years and years (apparently:...

The most comprehensive and awesome answer you will ever get to this question. Re: Help on OEM fron wing fitting & fettling

As Barry says just because they are Genuine Porsche panels and cost a fortune doesn’t mean they are perfect. The presses are old and if you examine the panel you’ll see it’s made up of several pressings welded together, sometimes you can even see tool marks on the inside where they have been dresse...

Re: Cheap auto-darkening welding masks ...

Last para the best! I've only used 0.8mm, never 0.6mm, always assumed its use would be more critical and awkward for one like me, very diy. Must try some. Can you get away with 0.8 tips? No, but as you should be replacing your tips regularly anyway, you just keep both :) . Talking of tips, here's a...
