Re: Break down- fuel problems???
Hi Sean P, New inline fuel filter. Haven't checked the fuel quantity by doing as you mentioned but will do so and report back. Not aware of a fuel mesh from the tank but that's not say there isn't one. Something else I will have to check. https://www.rosepassion.com/en/cat/porsche-912-1966-912-1-6-...

Re: Break down- fuel problems???
When the car restarted it ran ok without hesitation but was only a 2minute blast back. All fuel lines were replaced at the last service apart from the line from the fuel tank. I did look at this yesterday and it's an old braided one so may be worth replacing anyway- is this straightforward? When it ...

Break down- fuel problems???
Took my 68 car out today for a run. About 8 minutes in I came up to a roundabout and slowed down which then produced a loud 'slapping' bang. Car didn't stop as I managed to keep going on to a slip road but under acceleration the car was hesitating. 2 further minutes I came off on to slip road and ha...

I use Avon ZV3 tires on my 912. Used them previously and impressed. I would recommend them. Got them using black circles.

Fuel Pump - can anyone help ?
I've had a bad weekend working on my 68 912. Whilst trying to solve the misterious conking out problems I decided to fit a rebuild kit to the fuel pump. Upon removal of the pump I noticed the oil sleeve around the rod within the fuel pump was perished. I read that this is a non servicable part - Gre...

Blank off Plate
Nick, I don't suppose you have a blank off plate left ?? I took my fuel pump apart this weekend, managed to lose the spring retaining cup/washer and noticed that the oil rod gasket was knackered - great weekend. Could you also let me know the details of the facet pump you have fitted. i.e type and h...
