Looking at this arrangement, it looks like the shoulder straps are too far apart and the child could slip through the belts. The clamp position is designed for a lap and diagonal belt.

1967 911 and 912's had a top mount for the seat belt in the rear shelf

I have started collecting parts for my rebuild of FGW10C. Has anyone got a slam panel that does not have the flat area where the chassis plate fits onto as on the later cars. It does not need to be new, an old rusty one will suffice

We can only speculate on how sp damage body shells. I sent 3 hillman imps there in 2006, and all 3 suffered the same distortion, which basically was the fact that the back end dropped by 30mm. One shell also had very bad fork lift damage to the sills. Additionally there was some panel rippling on th...

door fit

I notice that the shell is in bare metal!, has it been heated and acid dipped to achieve this in the black country! I have had 3 imps done this way and the doors did not fit afterwards. The back end drooped in the process and the whole shell needed jigging to sort it out. You cannot just jack the do...

912 JIG work

Hi Our company Fenn Lane Motorsport use a car bench jig for this type of work, and we own our own brackets for the 911 and 912. This year we have had 4 911's/912's on this jig. Using a jig for this work speeds it up, and reduces the cost, as once the car is bolted down, the shell does not move and y...

So it maybe the oldest 912 in right hand drive form, when did they start making 911's in right hand drive, and how many early rhd 911's are there surviving?

Thankyou

Many thanks for information received about FGW 10C. It appears to be the 16th ever right hand drive 912, with only FGW 8C being a canditate for being older (what was the chassis number?)
