Re: 911 hot rods..where are they money wise today?
Perhaps it would be worth chopping in the old girl for a younger model? You could still follow the "hot rod" theme as I understand they often come with modifications, even straight off the showroom floor. You'll lose the tinkering and sounds/smells that come with the older models of cours...

Re: BIB5566
Hi, Before getting too embedded in rolling roads, distributor rebuilds and MFI (Check Measure Adjust is still the bible here I think?), can I suggest you check - and possibly replace - the points? If they're in poor shape or out of adjustment this is a quick and relatively cheap fix... Cheers, Chris

1972-73 911 Black Engine Lid Grille
Good condition 5-bar engine grille correct for 1972-73 911. No damage to the mesh nor bends to the bars. All six mounting studs are present. I have no reason to think the part isn’t original, although it was the incorrect type for my car’s MY. £200 + delivery? Cheers Chris https://uploads.tapatalk-c...

Hi Tim,
Thanks for the offer but I don’t think that’ll work for me.
Any other thoughts on buying new?
Cheers
