more WD up its ass, mine took quit a few squirts on different occasions, it keeps better time than Big Ben now! although the battery is disconnected at the moment :?

So just dropped all the bits, case, heads, etc off at LAP they did the machining and gave it all back in a kinda kit form? Looking good! Did you build the T4 motor yourself? I'm just in the process of rebuilding my T4 and thinking of converting to an upright, where did you get the housing from?

All I can do is post some images of mine which is a 1976 model (galvanized) that had corrosion around the battery tray, fortunately it only affected the top side of the pan, so only the top section was replaced around the battery tray across the front edge of the fuel tank to the other side, I'll ha...

I was there, but couldn't park with the DDK posse, the parking geeza said we were full, its was about 11ish tho. Could turn out tho! In my experience, however, it was not the gun-metal gear wheels becoming loose on the shaft, as described in the article..... If you do need a hand, get in touch, Leicestershire isn't that big ! I'm just round the back of Leicester Forest East services..... round the back of the motorway services!!...

I doubt any, with exceptions of the most pedantic MOT centre would notice, for a start they'd have to take you car for a spin to notice and for £25-30 they're gonna want it off the ramps asap for the next punter. Lets face it, its not the speedo its the rust in the structural parts you're gonna have...
