This is NOT an un-common problem and I would urge everyone to carry a spare Pair of Pulley Halves and of course a Fan Belt and the means to change it Even if you cannot manage to carry out the repair at the side of the road - at least you have the parts available for the Garage or the Happy RAC Man ...
