Graham the only advice I could from Dave was as follows "You need to isolate the coil winding electrically & continuity test & also clear to coil lamination core earth, what the coil resistance should be I would not know" It might be worth checking http://terrot.club.pyreneen.free....

I went with The Rennsport seats in basketweave but find they sit a little high. I read one of Timo's posts and may apply the same logic if the seats don't settle.
