I’ve been told that someone quoted these weights from Chesil on their paperwork and they passed:
Axle 1 550Kg
Axle 2 400Kg
Total of 950Kg
Proved to be correct when IVA’d.

You have to present what at least looks like a driveable “finished” vehicle for IVA (paint, trim etc are irrelevant, just the basics will do). If it fails you can book a retest within 6 months for £90. It will be tested at the same standards. If the car fails again, then next time it’s a full IVA at...

Thanks for the prompt reply. I thought I might overcome the drum skins issue by sandwiching a circular baking/pizza tray, drilled to allow the wheel bolts and hub to pass through, between the back of the wheel and the adapters. Sounds a bit Heath Robinson I know but I think it could work!! I'm still...
