Re: Luftgekühlt - UK - 29 July 2018 - Tickets are Live!
It's always difficult to identify certain colours via digital images as opposed to seeing them (ie the car) 'in the flesh' - & 'Orange' falls into that category. Completely agree. I felt the more knowledgeable may have been able to deduce the colours from the model, on the assumption the colour...

Thanks all - and apologies - the images were not intended to display so large! Great stance with those wheel. What suspension ? Bilstein B6 matched with H&R springs to achieve a ride height of RS+10mm, give or take factory tolerances. Geo was completed to Sport specification via Tognola’s Beissb...

Re: Is this a Porsche colour?
The customer reckons it's a Porsche colour from the 70's called Oak Green. What do you guys reckon? It looks more like Golf Gti Mk2 Oak Green to me (or are they the same?). There's an Oak Green 993 for sale at RPM at the moment if you need a current reference: https://rpmtechnik.co.uk/sales/vehicle...

Re: Your choice of mobile phone mount...?
Many thanks redrobin911 for posting images.
Sadly the ashtray in the 993 doesn't open far enough to accommodate a phone in landscape mode, and even if it did, there'd be no side support (see here for a pic).

Re: Your choice of mobile phone mount...?
For a really great free solution for smartphones - i.e. Samsung S7 and iPhone of similar size you will find that if you open the ashtray your phone will happily lightly "wedge" in place horizontally - I've used this loads of times and my phone has never dropped or fallen and also have dec...

Re: Your choice of mobile phone mount...?
Thank you silver911, that's precisely what I had almost settled on. It's a little unsightly in comparison to the neat Rennline item above though! Great to know its handled a larger phone and without problems. For anyone reading, note there is the Magic Mount range, and the Magic Mount PRO range, and...

Your choice of mobile phone mount...?
For those who use sat nav on your mobiles, I'd Interested to see how you mount your mobile phone in your car. I dislike anything stuck to the windscreen, so would be interested in any alternative/innovation solutions. The best I've come across is this from Rennline, for all air-cooled 911s: (install...
