1987 Carrera 3.2 Sport Cabriolet

I'm usually skulking around on the pre 74 - 911 Longhood page so I hope you don't mind the lack of knowledge on anything G series, post 74 and the subsequent question. I am considering purchasing a rather stunning 87 Carrera 3.2 Sport Cabriolet, in silver - low owners and low mileage - approx 50k. F...

Re: Looking for Revival Paddock Passes x 2 or 3

Does anybody have any Goodwood Revival Paddock Passes that they won't be using this year that they may be willing to part with for an agreeable fee. The passes are Free to Goodwood Members. I'm a 'member in waiting' for 4 years now as part of the Fellowship but have probably a few more years to wai...

Porsche insurance for 19 year old

My passion for Porsche has been passed on to my son who has just turned 19 years He is looking to buy himself a Porsche 944 as a bit of a garage / project car, something around the 4-7k mark that he can do up / restore. The biggest problems he's coming up against is Car Insurance prices. For a polic...

Real shame to see Remco lose 2 minutes. I was hoping to see a good ding dong between him and Bernal

Re: If you were selling - Where?

Just a quick update on this post. I took every ones advice and put a post on the Cars for Sale page of DDK before giving it to a local Porsche Specialist to sell who would have taken a 10% sellers fee. I'm happy to say it sold via DDK and it's going to a good home which I also feel is important. Tha...

Covered Car Transport Hire - Cornwall

I'm looking to hire a Covered Car Trailer to transport a vehicle. The problem is I'm based in Cornwall. Ideally I don't want to drive to Essex to hire a unit to drive all the way back to Cornwall to load the car then deliver it, then all the way back to Essex to drop the trailer back! Does anyone kn...

73 - 911T For Sale - This time with Pictures

After so much deliberation I have decide to sell my beloved 911. Totally Genuine Reason for sale - to fund a house purchase deposit for our son. Plus I'm just not using the car. We live down a filthy country lane and I keep the car totally immaculate so every time it gets driven it comes back with h...

If you were selling - Where?

If you were looking to sell your early 911 where would you look to sell it? Would it be best to place it with a Specialist, although have been a few horror stories of late, plus probably a selling fee of 10%? Maybe an ad on a site like carandclassic.co.uk but then you have to deal with all the tyre ...
