pretty sure autoaid don't have age restrictions, but they don't do Europe. You have to take a specific euro policy for the time you are there.

Re: Doesn’t make for good reading on Impact Bumpers

The issue is that we on the forum know who it is, but due to potential legal action we can't name and shame. As a result the person who wants a nice Porsche doesn't see anything bad pop up about these guys. On top of that they are very good at proactive advertising, on social media particularly. I k...

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?

Converted US-spec rear lights to Euro-spec by using amber LED bulbs, thus keeping red lenses but getting amber turn signals. Works a treat. Converted front US marker light/turn signal unit to Euro-spec two-bulb set-up with matching lenses. Removed bulbs from marker lights in front wings. Swapped US...

What a brilliant story of how people with the same interests are the same no matter where you are from. Maybe we should all get on the forums every time we have a trip somewhere.

Booked my accommodation in September following the advise of fellow DDK'ers. So I won't be camping, but hopefully will get chance to catch up with you guys before / during / after.

Thanks for the responses guys. I just wondered if there was some secret trick to removing the existing glass. Will add a new mirror to my list. Will start on your site Matt :)

Rear View Mirror Repair?

Hi all,

my rear view mirror glass is in pretty bad shape, probably Cali sun damage. All the plastic is fine, its the silvering / reflecting surface, so although you can see ok, its far from ideal. Does anyone know, can you replace the glass, or do I need to get a new mirror?

Thanks
