Suspension Refresh

I’m planning to remove the suspension from my ‘66 car over the coming Winter and have components powder coated / fixings plated etc. New rear dampers are needed but I wondered what upgrades / changes I might consider. In a separate YT video he and Brian Scotto suggested £10M to £12M but Audi hadn’t told them the actual figure, just said ‘don’t break it’!

OK, thanks. I too like the ride quality of my car, just the right side of firm, noting that the rear dampers are aged and I plan to replace them. Koni it is, then.

Is it only Koni who supply dampers for early 912s or is there a Bilstein equivalent?

My bonnet did pop open. Found it was the rubber seal around the ‘rain gutter’ that was not in correctly and was preventing the bonnet from closing properly. Easily sorted.

Still running an engine I bought from Eric Studer in 2000.
