Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project
Steady progress, got the Headlining 90% complete today. Went for black which I'm really happy with but decided try gorilla contact adhesive which is complete arse and even after 5 mins drying time only just sticks. Luckily I practiced attaching off cuts of of heading to a coke can and realised this ...

Re: 911 Bumper support Tube
That's great, I should be able to post tomorrow and I'll let you know the price. I've found one of the nuts that I'll put in but haven't found the second one yet.

Porsche 911 T engine Lid letters Price drop to £50 UK postage included
Hi There, Not sure what year these are from as came on a lid that I bought. There is light damage as pictured but all the pins are OK and comes with some fixings. Not sure of value but will start at £80 and see if any interest. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53037120765_09d382e092_c.jpg 2023-07...

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project
Battery arrived today, really happy with the size and with CCA of 600A and capacity of 62Ah seemed to hit the sweet spot for size, weigh and power....Almost feels like I'm a systems engineer again! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53012756057_11d45c8dd8_c.jpg 2023-06-30_09-05-47 by richard cannin...

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project
Thanks Johnny, that's Great to know. I did buy a none working DCI box that I repaired but would defiantly like to get one of yours for reliability as much as anything else. I didn't realise that my current gauges don't include oil level and pressure so will defiantly be replacing/upgrading them as a...

Hi James, Great Project. Having just refitted my loom I would defiantly recommend removing yours before you go any further, I think you risk damaging it and think you'll struggle to get a good result painting with the loom in. I removed mine by first cutting off the two 6-pin plugs in the engine bay...

Alas no 10K tacho for now, just trying to get everything together and usable. Thinking I can always go back and concentrate on the finer points later. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52994146466_fee5d2cc77_c.jpg 2023-06-22_09-30-30 by richard cannings , on Flickr Getting there with the electrics...

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project
Really nice pictures thanks James and Matt, great inspiration.
Getting there with the electrics, got the indicators and the Hazards working today. Think I spent too long trying to work our that rationale behind the fusing solution rather than just getting them working but got there in the end!

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project
Hi Rich, if you go for one of our 175A alternators you can go smaller on battery capacity. I run an Odyssey AGM (PC925) in my SC and a Deadweight (prototype) in my 993. With the battery isolator, we have on occasion had issues where the isolator cannot sustain the current for the AC. TBH, this has ...
