Re: Original tyres

Out of these the Pirelli Cinturato and the Michelin XAS are still manufactured https://www.borrani.com/en/pirelli-tyres/cinturato-ca67/165hr15-pirelli-cinturato.html https://www.borrani.com/en/michelin-tyres/xas/165hr15-michelin-xas.html https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpf1/v/t1.0-9/988...

Re: Wheel/tyre options - SWB 911

None of the German registered 67S cars are running their 4,5" Fuchs because the top speed noted on the reg documents requires a VR tire. Making the "common" Michelin and Pirelli 165HR15 solution illegal for them, and a TUV failure. I did notice a Blockley 165VR15 being available, has...

Re: Pirelli CN36 tyres - anyone tried them?

There is a bit more about the Cinturato on here https://www.cinturato.net/ And you can buy them here. http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page/porsche-911 where there is imformation about all the Porsche 911 Tyres we do, including sets of tyres with 185/70VR15 and 215/60VR15 for the different size front...

Re: 165HR15 or 185/70VR15

Hi TLC356 Massive Chew Sets is an awful long way from me, so i would have to ship them. With out meaning to sound as if i don't trust you, it sounds a bit like giving a set of tyres away, which is different to selling tyres and making a profit. which is what i am supposed to do. and to be fair i don...

Re: 185/70VR15 Pirelli CN36

Hi

Does anyone have any pictures of their 911 fitted with the 185/70VR15 CN36 Cinturato (old or new) that they could post here and they are happy for me to use in adverts or on web sites.

Re: Wheel/tyre options - SWB 911

I think on the skinny rims you will get better handling from 165HR15 tyres either http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page/165hr15-pirelli-cinturato-ca67.html or http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page/165hr15-michelin-xas.html If you have wider rims the 185/70VR15 again either http://www.longstonetyres.co...

Re: 165HR15 or 185/70VR15

Hmm I'm kind of up for supplying some tyres. But people have preconceived ideas about what tyres are best, often based on what they themselves have posted on a forum. I would only contribute to this if the drivers of the cars were blindfolded. (of course i mean while they were put into the car; poss...

Re: 185/70VR15 CN36

Seriously; is it really all about price. Yes the Vredestein is cheaper than the CN36. But the Pirelli is a genuine original equipment tyre made by one of the worlds best tyre manufacturers with a V speed rating. https://www.borrani.com/en/pirelli-tyres/cinturato-cn36/185-70vr15-pirelli-cinturato.htm...

Re: New tyre on the block

"Vintage looking tread pattern" is a funny one. Blockley isn't a period tyre. Michelin and Pirelli actually make period looking tyres because they are the real thing and they are made by Pirelli and Michelin. https://www.borrani.com/en/pirelli-tyres/cinturato-cn36/185-70vr15-pirelli-cintur...

Hey Up John We do seem to be having a VSCC reunion. The Firestone F560 tyre was really popular and used to be a really good price. However today they are not such a bargain. the http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page/165hr15-pirelli-cinturato-ca67.html 165HR15 Pirelli CA67 Cinturato & http://www.l...
