Re: Getting 74 CIS engine to fit!!!! Help Please
Thanks JW and Wayne- had an email exchange with Maurice. My problem is now restricted to lowering the engine ever so slightly. Might be tricky with the Patrick Motorsports mount I have which is the weld in type, in addition to the Turbo Thomas headers which are quite large. We will keep at it. Regar...

Getting 74 CIS engine to fit!!!! Help Please
Hi,
I need some help. Fitting 74 CIS engine into 72 914. Getting it in is proving difficult. I don't want to start cutting up the trunk. It should fit in but requires some adjustments. Can anyone let me know, who has done it, what needs changing. Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards
Michael

Re: Finally impressed, drive #3
Suppose it depends what you want-a race prepared car is going to be totally different to a road car. To be fair to the 914/6 conversion that engine needs a rebuild. It has been going since the early 90ies and came out of a wrecked car in the first place. No suprise then that it is a little tired. It...

Re: Winter jobs on my 914
Thanks- is the 49 euro price for one or two lights- I'm presuming that is for one only, not a set. Was there anything in addition that needs to be ordered?
Thanks

Re: Fuse box/panel
Thanks Maurice and Moggy-if it is good for you then I will install one also. Presumably. I have to go back to the States for it with no UK supplier?
Thanks
