Re: Stanford Hall 2017 : Sun 30 Apr : Special 912 Display
It was a great day and brilliant to see everyone again and the show was a good one this year too.
Thanks very much to Danny & Neil for the organisation.
Looking forward to the next Flat 4 Drive in September!

Re: Stanford Hall 2017 : Sun 30 Apr : Special 912 Display
Anyone else travelling over from the East side? Sean I think you mentioned that there was a group meeting up at the Baldock Extra service station on the A1 Sunday morning to travel up in convoy. What time is that scheduled for? 8.30 Baldock Services. 9.15 Newport Pagnell services. I'll be in the da...

Re: Flat 4 Drive 2017 : Sunday Sep 24?
Sounds good again at the moment Danny & Neil. Count me in! I had better opt myself out of the pathfinding role after last time! I do seem to remember that maybe you caused the first split at a round about   I think the kids have some old walkie talkies which I will try to bring...

Re: Replacement Seats
Thanks very much Sean. Yes I had taken a look at the Cobra Classics and they could be a good relatively inexpensive option. Do you know if their runners fit directly onto the original SWB fixing points (as I believe the Rennsport model ones do)? Ideally would love to find some houndstooth centre sea...

Re: Replacement Seats
Thanks very much Sean!
I was looking for the earlier style fixed type (which I saw they had), but those are still quite expensive as price is for one.
I had spotted those back seats and was keeping an eye on them!
See you Sunday!

Replacement Seats
The seats that came with my 1968 912 are non original later leather electric types (possibly 993 or 996 not quite sure)! I do like the additional support they provide but was looking for something closer to period correct style, so I am after a pair of good condition Rennesport Race/BF Torino seats,...

Re: Who do you follow?
How things have changed, though I now feel the same about social media. I do Facebook but Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Tumbler... how do yo find the time for this cerebral chewing gum ? All I can imagine is that you're all either in full time education or retired. Nope, I'm in the middle of my wor...

Re: Who do you follow?
I am not a heavy social media follower and dont have FB. I do however find myself drawn to Instagram much more than Twitter as I like a heavier image content rather than text, but also when required Instagram does allow a longer comment/ explanation. I like historika911 to follow the racing exploit...
