Re: New blood ....
Well I suppose I'm new blood too. I bought a 356B in California about 18 months ago and restored it last year. I've a long & continuous VW past going back to 1978. I had never driven one until setting off for its MOT. Its so different to drive compared to a Beetle despite using the same technolo...

Does my engine match my VIN?
Is there a simple way to check if my engine & VIN number match? I don't mind paying for a COA but they take a while and I need to advertise the car. I know its going to be more important to the next owner that it was to me!!

Re: Workshop compact camera?
We would like to find a camera that takes a hi res image and saves two versions of the same shot. A small version for websites/forums/emails etc and a large version for when we need it. Does such a camera exist?

3.2 Targa roll bar colour code question

Re: V4 Saab 96/95 - anyone know anything about these?
There is a 2 stroke Saab 96 that races at Classic Le Mans, it is the noisiest racing saloon I have ever heard  I think it only 'races' with itself though. Never has volume been so disproportionate to speed! :) True. And here it is....but the sign says it's a 3 cyl 93. http://i11.photobucket....

Re: Boring old Tyres - 59 356a
We've got Vredestein Sprint Classics on our 356B historic rally car (5.5" rims) and a spare set of Snow+'s mounted on the original rims. They are great wet & dry, highly recommended.

Excellent thank you. You must be the Nick that I spoke to before setting off to see John Small in Wyoming last year? We went, we saw, we put cash on the table and......
