Re: Porsche 912 "Lucy"

Hi Mike, Thanks for the feedback. I used Surface Processing as they acid dipped the part before coating the breather tank in an anti corrosion coating. The part was very rusty inside and had considered various treatments before settling with the acid dip route. I'd read a lot about sand blasting bit...

Re: Mongrel Street Racer

Hi Daren. Nice progress. Have you looked at Bosch Automotive Tradition? http://www.automotive-tradition.de/de/teile/index.htm Looked at some Bosch switches for Lucy last year, before finding the right Porsche OE switch. With enough digging, I'd bet you'd find the switch and if you have the Bosch num...

Re: Porsche 912 "Lucy"

Agreed, Mojo's. Very important those.

Keep being asked about project timing....so, at the risk of sticking my neck out. I would like to attend Le Mans Classic 2016 with Lucy. It seems to be a general target of every ones and a long road trip for Hessen to Le Mans would be fantastic I think.

Re: Porsche 912 "Lucy"

Guten Abend zusammen. So, the washer bottle bracket. Having aquired some imges, this is my sketch of what I plan to create. Not 100% as per original Porsche as I do not have the ability to press sprung steel. Mine will be a welded version, but the look willl be as original. http://i1319.photobucket....
