Personally cant see Duxford being any better than Hedingham.
Wouldn't be surprised if Porsche club GB are getting involved and making it some large event that needs more space.

The route posted for 2017 does seem a lot different from 2016 so beware booking anywhere different to Rome, Parma Padova or Rome at this stage.

It's a superb event I can't recommend it highly enough, although you do need to plan ahead I booked hotel and tickets back in February. I'm with Ashley Logis always seem to be ok IMO

As Dusty said that would make a great hot rod. Ditch the hi fi and CB, nice set of wheels and ditch the stripes. Get it running as cheap as possible and have some fun. If you want to do a resto later that's great but go and enjoy it a bit first.
