Re: phil Raby 911t for sale?

And.......... All the adverts have vanished. Did anyone buy it? I viewed the car and did a lot of due diligence. Phil Raby was patient and very helpful. And in the end I offered £25,500 which was the price at which i felt incentivised and happy to take some risk and put time and money into rebuildin...

Re: Slate Grey 2 litre S - RPM Technic - heads up

Maybe my 2.4s targa shell is worth restoring after all!

Re: Do these numbers match?

Thanks both. There actually is a COA and the numbers are confirmed on it. But not so hard to fake something like that these days so worth me checking. Thanks for your help.

Do these numbers match?

Would one of the forensic scientists and good eggs on here let me know if the following are indeed matching numbers?

Engine number is 6103608 chassis is 9110123492.

With any luck they will come up as 1970 2.2t. Any other detail gratefully received ( a car I am considering buying)

Re: phil Raby 911t for sale?

I will add the following. The colour is much more appealing in the flesh as Dans pics show quite well. The bodywork looks good and although done by someone no one has ever heard of the photo file substantiates the work and also comes with the appropriate invoices for parts and labour. The car presen...

Re: 911T

Could someone better on the detail than me compare the engine shots from when Alan was selling and explain the difference in air filter setup? Is it correct that it has now been returned to period correct? Also regarding the Recaros Alan's ad stated the original seats were in storage and came with t...

Re: '73S Sporto?

Have you viewed the S at PS? If so, I would appreciate your informed opinion (I spent three hours with it Saturday before last). Feel free to PM. The last T I tried to snaffle went for £50k (which was a figure just a little more than I could get my head around especially considering it needed paint...

Re: '73S Sporto?

As a well informed buyer (former owner for one thing) paying a lot of attention to the current market I do find that a bit of a laugh. 95k asking vs. the one family S in a more appealing black at PS. No thanks. I start to wonder whether the better store of value is a well presented T. And it's troub...

Re: RHD 2.4 E

Work done by r to RSr. Anyone keen to offer an opinion on their reputation? Happy to take pm.

A minefield.. For the first time ever specialist prices/cars of malton appear to have 2 cars offering decent value!

Yes that's the one. And the PH advert has indeed gone. I may have to actually make a telephone call.

Re: Porsche curves

Well, someone paid >50k for the restored qv500 car - a 2.4t. Difficult comparisons. The Philip raby car with 2 engines (matching nos 2.2 needs rebuild) still for sale in the 30s and has, in theory, restored bodywork and fresh paint. And if this kermit one has sold you lot should be pleased! Quality ...

Porsche curves

Does anyone know who Porsche curves are? (A restorer, not the corner) I ask in the context of this nice looking T http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/porsche/911-pre-89/1970-porsche-911t-2-2-coup/1096512 I spy with my little eye several signs from Goodwood revival padlocks which tells m...

Re: RHD 2.4 E

Can anyone tell me the interior colour on the yellow one (while I await response from PS). Looks like it might be tan. In which case will anyone comment on the relative desirability, comparing and contrasting the yellow s which has now sold but took an age to do so. I really like the colour. Might b...
