Re: phil Raby 911t for sale?
So we have a scenario of a car long advertised and unsold in the UK, the owner that then comes on retrospectively to provide some very good information about the car, its history and provenance that was missing through the attempted sale process and then a result for him - sold to europe for the ask...

Re: Slate Grey 2 litre S - RPM Technic - heads up
both this and the targa must be sold - no longer on their website - but, a yellow ST rep based on an S has passed under my radar as had the silver RS rep backdate but apparently sporting an original RS engine.

Re: What happened to Formulae Fuchs
Tim fretwell that's the chap. Mine had a gearbox rebuild by tuthills and a 'tuthills' reg LNV something. Who knows what horrors lurked beneath, but it worked very well for me at the time. I remember going for test drive (on my own) and pulling in somewhere. Out of the rear view mirror white smoke wa...

What happened to Formulae Fuchs
Some years ago, (approx 1998) I bought my first classic 911 from a dealer specialising in 'rust free' Californian imports. Mostly 911s. It was called Formulae Fuchs and run from an industrial estate in Nottinghamshire somewhere. They had quite a decent website and seemed to turn over a reasonable nu...

Re: 1970 E sporto in orange
The positives: This is a uk original, AfN supplied, RHD car with 6 owners and a mileage that could be correct at 46k but with no verifiable history from new- mots supplied from '86 and about 34k miles. It is matching numbers and appears to have a fit engine and drivetrain. The sporto gearbox had a £...

Re: 911 repairs and Respray
The freshly restored hello one at Paul Stephens owes over 70k and specialist cars of malton have one. Haven't checked but think 55k off the top of my head. Asking prices of course.

Re: 1970 E sporto in orange
Out of interest, Chelsea Cars, say nothing or good people? Nice gold car but terrible adver and web site. Always good to gauge views on retailers. Yes nice gold 's' if you ignore the 2.4t, non matching engine, the repro seats etc ( although he says he has the original interior. I was round there ea...

Re: 1970 E sporto in orange
I actually know what they paid for the car. That tends to be advantageous in negotiations! Anyway - ahead of myself here - could be a load of old rubbish.

Re: 1970 E sporto in orange
The 'unknown' with the car will be the quality of the restoration which I understand was done by the owner themselves. But - there are hundreds of photos documenting this. We'll see....

Do these numbers match - attempt #2!
I did not secure the last car.
Would you be kind enough to check these:
VIN: 9110200366
Engine: 6208218
They should belong to a RHD 1970 2.2e sporto
