Re: clutch cable adjustement not possible - 2,2T my 70

Ok, I’ll start but with the caveat that I don’t know the 2.2 clutch too well. Could your pedal assembly be affecting things, roll pin broken, return spring failing, bushes need replacing? Thank you Ian: pedal assembly is in perfect condition in terms of spring and bronze bushes but is a good point ...

clutch cable adjustement not possible - 2,2T my 70

Good evening Gentlemen It's been a while for me, far from ddk forum thanks to other projects and 911 enjoyment. Now I'm back to your usual kindness and skills for my typical and unusual trouble situation. Since this summer during holidays trip on Dolomiti with my 2,2T I noticed that with warm climat...

Re: torsion bars

Max it is quite tricky to get the correct spring plate angle if you are not used to setting them up. You need to be very methodical and use some method of checking your before and after angle. I have lots of pairs of 23mm bars . Best would be to give me a call in the workshop and I could talk you t...

Re: 911 brake fluid breather hose

. I never liked the idea of 'dumping' excess brake fluid to the outside - to be blown onto underside of the car (or the front of a following car) - so in my early 911's I always routed the hose to a small 'catch tank' sited in the smuggler's box ... . Thanks a lot!! I have the same opinion... I thi...

Re: Best tires in size 195/65-15 for 911 Lwb

Dear all quick update: after my mail to Blockley tires they send me a new set of 185/70 Vr15 for free trusting in their products and telling me to check suspension on my car. New tires arrived, now on my car. I think that the problem with former set was only that...they were old tires: when coming o...
