Hi jonny, would you describe the rear reflector to be in resonable nick , ie no cracks and plastc studs to rear intact ? if so let me know postage and if you take paypal or other . Cheers Henry

Just re anodised mine , drilled rivets out first and removed the steel retainers to stop them being dissolved by the anodising process , had them plated and re attached with jb weld ..

Looking good and lovely colour , have you had your trailing arms cromated/anodised in some way as they are pretty corroded like mine were around the spring plate holes , or planning on some kind of wax oil to prevent future corrosion .

Thanks Ian I took your advice , it came off much better than I thought , good enough for another 34 years I reckon. I do have another question however if some one could help , whilst removing all the dials and clocks I notice that one appeared to have a bulb holder not in use and nothing in there , ...

Thanks Ian , I take it if I ruin the old vinyl it is easily matched with a new piece. I have just bought a heat gun so will give it a wizz and see if I can salvage the original bit but as you say I dont fancy my chances , great to have some advice from someone whose been there . Planning on tackling...

Hi , I am currently in the process of stripping my 79 SC to a bare shell prior to having it sent off for de rusting at Enviro-strip in a couple of weeks . Continueing my quest to find a suitable 3.6 engine for an sc transplant. If anyone has one or knows of one please drop me a message . I dont mind doing a rebuild as long as reflected in price as on a budget varioram or non varioram idealy with ancilaries.
