I am very impressed with the difference my MSD + Hi-Torque starter made. It starts almost like a modern car now and settles down to idle very quickly. Top upgrade :)

+1 to all of the above, your contribution to Pelican has been immense. Particularly enjoyed the recent 4-cam engine discovery saga.

Singer 911 on CarCast

Worth a watch. Huge amount of work gone in to this thing.

The original LP400 is just a gorgeous shape, and was gradually ruined over the years with nasty wings. I'm sure I couldn't fit in one anyway so I won't have to worry about how awful they are to drive.

Done it many many times, never declared never had a problem. Virtually every new part or upgrade on my car is from Pelican. Brought back all sorts: Prototipo, MSD, starter motor etc.

If you're worried tell her to remove all the packaging and don't keep the invoices with the stuff.

Generally if an overtake is so marginal that having RHD would swing it - I'd tend not to take it on at all. Only trouble I have is on the motorway with only having driver's side wing mirror. You constantly have to check over your shoulder to check. I have a mirror for the other side - but still work...

Very cool. Also note they have started making MFI fuel pumps again - €595.

+1 Gary

Those might have been ok on new steel, but I wouldn't risk it on 40 year old metal no matter how rust free the car is meant to be.

Have you found a source for your perished hoses? My one from the control unit to the clutch actuator was perished and I replaced with a similar one from a agricultural hydraulic service place. The original is NLA. The one I have works fine but it collapses under the vacuum.

Just seen this thread - another E Sporto - pretty rare!

Good to see those pics from the inside of the box.

My site (see below) has lots of sporto tech info if you haven't already seen it.

101 Projects says jack up under the sump with a bit of wood or newspaper.

That's what I've always done.

eBay is a good source, I've replaced all of my lines and everything I've bought seems fine.

Got mine from this lot: http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/carrotcycles
