I think this data is highly suspect. You can see its riddled with mistakes, with imaginary cars as categories etc. Good site though.

Yes I have a little problem with the eBay API that's stopping your car from matching Keith. I have posted on their support forum but no-one seems to help; I have no clue how to select the category of the actual car model, but can do everything else, so just do it by text search. Hence your car doesn...

CarSpy - my latest web project

I've been working on this site for the past 6 months or so - spare time project. Trying to grow the traffic so would love it if DDKers could check it out and give me some feedback. It does used car metasearch - searches PH, eBay and Autotrader with one nice web 2.0 interface: http://carspy.co If you...

Cheap because:

Ugly
Juicy
Most used car buyers don't want expensive SUVs and rich people buy new ones

Good steer for 10k though I reckon, especially with an LPG conversion.

I saw it mentioned on Twitter that it might have a 'deck mode' where the suspension drops to the floor to shield it from attack. Makes sense, you then couldn't get a bomb under it, and any underfloor armour it has would do a better job of containing an explosion.

I'd have no chance with a sunroof car (6'7"). Now I've put 930 seats in its definitely tight, but I could re-do the brackets so the seat is mounted in between the mounting holes.

I replaced all those connections on my car recently when I changed the fuel pump. I used a brass (I think) t-piece from eBay; looks the part and should last. It was only a few quid IIRC.

Did the S definitely have sports seats as standard in the UK? Pwd72S's car on Pelican didn't.

Rear wiper also standard?

Mine is the same Will, I have just disconnected the hoses from the exchangers and lo and behold, no heat. The problem is in my case the flapper box isn't sealing properly and the force of the air from the engine will open it. The boxes need to be operating smoothly and the linkage adjustment needs t...

See my site www.sportomatic.org for lots of information. Years ago there was definitely quite a difference in the values between sporto and manual cars, this has eroded recently I think as more people appreciate the interesting technical aspects of the system, and also the increased rarity. Mine is ...

The system is crap and there are a number of ways your heater system can fail. The most likely thing that's happening is that the flapper boxes aren't opening. They are spring loaded and default to shut. The other bad news is its very hard to work on the heater system without dropping the engine. Yo...
