Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........

30k seems like a bit of a bargain, interested to know what work Tuthills have done and what comes with the car, could be a good way of getting into early 911 ownership

Re: The cost of filling up your car .

C Scotland seems to be ahead of the game at this point but how long free charging will last is anybody’s guess. So far so good. Regards Mike So Scotland is giving away free fuel......FFFS WHY? W I would imagine a strategy along with a few other carrots the SNP offer, free or low cost nursing home c...

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?

A lot of the 964s looked like minters.....couldn't believe they were waiting to be stripped etc. My understanding is that Singer only use the chassi / floor pan and nothing else. But at $1.8M for a DLS..... buyers and Singer are obviously not bothered about butchering 964s

Funny you should mention that James, they had 3 large storage units, I did ask for my car to be stored in one of the other two

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?

Took the new car for a spin before taking it for its winter hibernation. No room in the garage at present until the garage extension goes on in the spring. First time I have used a car storage company, I was surprised to be greated by two full bays of 964s ..... turned out a very well known 911 rest...

Re: 964 rear brake refurb- help

I use EBC yellows on my race car and I think I went for reds in my 964. They seem to have their detractors but I think they’re fantastic in both cars. Another 964 resto / refresh thread would be good, and some pics! I am doing some more work on mine at the mo but have also just bought another Boxst...

Re: Car storage - Huntingdon / Cambridgeshire area

Hi Mark, I can thoroughly recommend CarSafe, who are not too far from Cambridge (https://www.carsafe.co.uk/vehicle-storage). I’m actually dropping my car back there for a second winter season on Friday, and when I spoke to them the other week they still had spaces. Give them a call (David Willoughb...
