At least the front clip was only 'glass... A new battery box, front hood, and ten minutes on the rack and she'll be perfect again. Love those steel wheels... Neko.DustyM wrote:Did they swerve to avoid a reindeer!

This Lemania 5100 powered PD on its way to replace them Nice! After a three-register chrono, stop-minute hands, along with fly-back, and Doppelchronograph were always on my want-to-have-for-fun list. I stopped with a Heuer Bundeswehr though when I realized just how much money I was spending, and ho...

Nice chrono! http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t226/punc01/P1040500.jpg I love weathered vintage Seiko. There is something about the story, period design, and quality, which places them up there with my IWC UTC, and vintage Heuer. I am particularly fond of my 6306 diver below. Before display backs,...

The body curves deliciously subtle, and the sound glorious! Though approaching 'small', a big 911 driver like me can s...

Re: Converting rear lights to Indicators
You need to remove old and solder in new lampholders for the dual filament lamps, I did mine - fiddly but ok I seem to recall removing the old single filament holder was an easy step, and the hardest part of the twin filament installation was merely getting it to clear the lens. As others said, a c...

Great photograph this one... http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7020/6553454363_c497e66a85_b.jpg Do people still carry skis on Porsche? We used to strap them on our old Käfer, but I've not seen a Porsche wearing skis in years... At least not in Japan. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7033/6557204315_63c6fde...

On a good day it was take the 30-minute hop in the Citation, a bit longer in an S-76C, then drive home in a grubby Porsche. The bad days, it was just the Porsche. So even the bad days were something to look forward to. Neko.
