Re: FS: set of 2 Cibié hood rally lights
Hi, thanks for asking. I really can't tell the difference... but I can assure you that although the lights are clearly branded Cibié, there are SEV Marchal stickers inside the shells, behind the lights. If it helps I can email good high-res pictures from other angle or details by request. Just drop...

Re: 1973 911T engine bay sound proofing pad/mat
In regards to the later long hood pads (72/73), a member of the Early S Registry has his own solution. I'm familiar with his material and it's also rated for engine compartment use. It's very close to the one used during most of 71, and a good substitute for 72/73. There are suitable solutions for &...

Re: SWB Horn Grill seal
My apologies on European shipping costs. Here's an update on shipping from the USA. I've stopped small parts shipping from the USA. We can't just drop a small part into an envelope and ship it like a letter. If I try this it gets returned back to me demanding postage for a "package" and th...

Re: Headrests.....
From what I've found, if the interior was originally leather you got D shaped headrests (72/73), and if vinyl you got Peanut. Thus far I've only found 1 peanut headrest in leather in my search of headrests. Eric (I made the D shaped headrests that Vintage is using, and I'll have the Peanut shaped on...

Re: Recommend me a UK supplier- rhd wiper arm
Thanks very much to Ian for his purchases! A note on the wipers and some of the details. It was easy from old brochures to find that the rivets weren't painted, but finding the rivet placement in the center of the arm was difficult. I had literally a stack of vintage wiper arms from a large parts ya...

Re: Rubber Blocks Recaro Frames
I made a run of them for my SWB Recaro tip brackets (I repro'd the SWB tip bracket and will have the sliders soon). This is a pic of the first prototypes. I'll have this run in January for those using them on SWB tip brackets. Not sure if they are correct on the LWB tip brackets, but I'll figure tha...

Re: WTB Original Chrome Horn Grilles for '72T
Hello DDK, Since my name was mentioned, I thought I would add my .02 (US $). Up till now, there's only been one supplier for the world on the LWB chrome non fog light horn grills, no matter who you bought them from. Due to continued requests I've decided to step into the fray and make a new version ...

New AutoForeign item, Black Wiper arms for 68-73 RHD!!!!
And I'm doing the LHD as well. Exact new reproduction of the original SWF black wiper arms for both RHD and LHD. Correct "bow" in the arm, length, color, spring, rivet is slightly larger on one side than the other and slightly domed. Note that these are also correct for 74-77 cars, and 914...

Re: tracking a new 911T to PON's Automobielhandel in 1968
Hi, As has been mentioned Ben Pon was the Porsche distributor for Holland, and from what I know he got this due to his relationship with Porsche as a factory driver. Note that he had the Dutch distributorship for VW as well (far more lucrative for him). Pon distributed cars not only through Holland,...

The picture posted shows the standard seat fabric orientation. For sport seats the fabric was turned 90 degrees.

New Wiper assemblies, 65 to 67 Silver SWF style
Just completed a new project, silver wiper arms and blades reproduced from the originals by SWF. Tips are bent right and left, so they work for left hand drive and right hand drive "parking". Parts book indicates that these were used for both LHD and RHD, and there were no RHD specific arm...

Lee,
They should be a satin black finish. Sounds like you have some aluminum or polished stainless under the current paint that's on them.

New production of the original gray SWB horn grill seal
Just got the prototype in, and I'll be able to have these in about 2 weeks time. This seal has never been redone as far as I have seen, and I've managed to get it correct using an original one I found on some old SWB grills. Here's a couple of pictures on the links below. Note that I am in stock on ...
