Hi, I know it's a long shot but does anyone have the correct dipstick for a 914-6 or the filler neck?
Alternatively a 911 dipstick which I could possibly use to modify the dipstick I currently have.
Cheers Jonathan

914-6 Dipstick and oil filler
Hi, I currently have problems with the dipstick on my 916-6 conversion., it doesn't read anything despite the tank and engine having been filled with the correct amount of oil. From what I can tell from investigating, I may have the wrong parts, I believe both the dipstick and the filler tube are fr...

Re: 914 Parts
The only spare I have is a steel 5 stud wheel, I presume you may be looking for a 4 stud wheel? In which case you might want to contact Keith via his reply below.dt4 wrote:do you have a spare wheel by any chance?

Re: 2.4T Engine rebuild advice
Thanks chaps for all the help and suggestions. I will take a look at the thread Rich as you suggest, thanks. I have a copy of the Dempsey book which as you say is very helpful, along with Bruce Anderson's Performance Handbook they cover most things but it is always good to hear how others have done ...

Re: 2.4T Engine rebuild advice
Thanks Gary and Mike, Your advice is much appreciated. I am leaning towards sticking with the original barrels and pistons if everything checks out. It doesn't seem to be an option or make sense to just increase the compression ratio without all the other mods required and I'm not sure where I will ...

2.4T Engine rebuild advice
Hi, I am looking for advice on how far I should go with the engine rebuild of my 2.4T. I have removed the engine from my RHD 914 as it was not running correctly along with the common signs of smoking. The engine had stood for some years while I completed the conversion of my 914 to RHD and 6 cylinde...

Fuch Alloy Refurbishment
Hi, I am sure this will have been asked before somewhere on here but I was unable to find any info. However, I am looking to have my 6 X 15 Fuch wheels refurbished. Can anyone suggest or recommend who can do this for me? I believe there are several people in the UK who are able to do them but have b...

Thanks Neil,
I'll take a look. Could be a good option if nobody has any used ones laying around.
Thanks Jonathan.

Weber 30mm Chokes
Hi, I am after a set of 30mm venturies/chokes for my Weber 40IDA3c's. These are not available from Webcon as they only supply new chokes 32mm and bigger, so hoping someone may have a set laying around from when their carbs/engine have been upgraded. Currently my carbs are fitted with 36mm chokes and...
