Vancouver British Columbia.
Hi, I joined last year (2010) and already some of your members have been very helpful in not only extending friendship but with sourcing out some parts for my car. I will attempt to attach a pic of my 1970 911T which I brought with me from Canada. It is originally up from California. It is now regis...

WTB 1970T Seatbelt brackets
Hi, I am looking for a pair of brackets for my driver seat.
These are the left and right black angled brackets that attach the seatbelt recepticles to the underside of the seat. They are attache to the seat by hex bolts.
Hope someone has a pair which they are not using.
Many thanks
Chris M

My 911T is a long wheel base and came off the assembly line in Jan 1970 and is identical to the one you refer to. The first longwheel base was 1969. I believe the narrower trim was standard until around 1971 when the wider (or S) trim replaced for the 72/3 model years. Of course there were always fa...

You probably have the original zenith carbs. These are great carbs no matter what people tell you about webers. They have more flexibility for tuning and need an expert hand but when tuned properly are excellent and don't go out of tune. Worthwhile having them looked at by someone in the know. Chris
