It's very hard to do a full, bare metal restoration with new trim, suspension, brakes, rebuilt engine and gearbox, for less than £50K on any 911, so work it out. That S was non matching numbers and a Targa :| , What's that worth restored? Not a lot. I have no idea what Dinos cost or are worth, but ...

Plus the drummer drives an 88 3.2 with factory slipper and air con and their video producer (maybe not of this particular one) an 85 SSE. Possibly the most Porsche-oriented band there is and worthy of credit for that :)

Just me being flippant, nothing more sinister :) The truth is we haven't decided. Like a lot of nicely restored cars it's all there, but there are details we'd have done differently. I don't consider them significant enough to deal with on this car, but Paul wakes up in cold sweats over incorrectly ...

A number of cars have made more than 80, more than one over 90, but since no two are alike it all means very little unless you've fully inspected each one. To add a little balance, I offered Mr Moss an MoTd 73 S last week at 7k. It wasn't cheap enough for him. The blue car is comfortably up there wi...

* waves * Don't get too excited folks, it's rather less than £85k. Though as we all know, £85k is nothing more than middle ground for a decent 2.4 S now. :) As has been said, colour change from Sepia when restored in the 90s. Nobody knew back then that brown would go on to be the colour of choice fo...

Nevermind the music, what about the rotten lines the RS is taking? Driven properly it would have got away.

Sounds to me like it wants to be bought for as close to nothing as you can, probably £5k but impossible to say without looking properly. Logic is : An RS rep with a side filler is a bit squiffy, so I wouldn't do that. A mint car without matching numbers would probably be £25 - 30k. As a minimum you'...

Apparently.

Though I've not looked at it yet to confirm.

ISTR a receipt in the file for £6k in the 1980s for it.

£11,800?

Seriously, though, if you really are after one, give me a ring. We have one here on a car that we're thinking of splitting.

Drinking Tizer and peeing on cars is far better than nitromoors for paint removal.

We are slowly doing this to every car we have and painting them all Gemini blue.
