Matching number 1971 911 T Lightweight

http://www.paul-stephens.com/images_cms/large/porsche-911-t-lwt_2343.jpg This lovely classic 911 is a matching number, UK 1971 911 T with just 5 registered keepers from new. It was comprehensively nut-and-bolt restored and taken over to lightweight spec by the owner of a coachworks for his own use ...

1971 based 2.7 RS Touring homage

http://www.paul-stephens.com/images_cms/large/_2336.jpg We've sold this lovely 1971 based RS replica before but even the most eagle-eyed may not be able to recollect, since it was previously a lightweight rep with blue wheels and decals. The gentleman who bought the car from us previously preferred...

Hopefully I'll be up next week, so you can do it for me then! :drunken:
Will you? What's that about then? The management don't tell me anything...

I was holding one yesterday thinking just how 'right' they feel. Perfect size for the car, perfect rim diameter for the car, just as carefully considered as every other detail.

As Jason says, finding a used one will probably prove tricky in the extreme. :(

The blue car is an L plate 73 E. It was for sale locally a couple of weeks back - we saw it and offered on it. It's generally a nice car. The owner told us he'd sold it to a colleague.

Personally, I wear a genuine 1980-something Timex indiglo (only on its second battery) so I'm not the man to talk to about watches, but I'm told these are nice :

But they do tend to need a £6k engine rebuild every 80k miles, they always leak oil and bits fall off them more regularly than on the 993. Sorry Sam, I usually do not comment on such statements but this time, I feel i need to add a caveat. This is possibly the case for london-only, short distance, ...

I'm not sure who would recommend a 964, unless the purchase budget was a big factor. They are much cheaper than 993s to buy, but more expensive to service, suffer from oil leaks and just don't look as good IMO. Me! But with caveats. I like the way the '64 looks. The '93 shape has a unique appeal bu...

Sorry, yes, if RHD it ought to be there when you consider what a 2.4 makes. I can't see Helen's old 2.0 S for sale any more and that was £55k...

First things first. The singular of lenses is lens not lense. Who said it was? ;) Next thing you'll be telling me there are two Ls in calllliper. I would say the S brakes were optional, M calipers were the standard fitment. Wide trims and black lenses So we are both right then. That's nice. Thanks ...

73MY 911 E with S bits...

Please could you 911 buffs help settle an argument :

Did all 1973 MY 911 Es have S type ali calipers, black lens surrounds and wider bumper trims?

TIA

Porsches don't boom and bust, they just creep gently and pleasingly.

Compare and contrast what 911 prices have done over the years against Ferrari prices.
