It turns out that my mirror that I thought was original, is from a later model... Round fixing to the windshield as opposed to the rectangular shape. I should know by now to expect 'the next thing' not to be original.

Does anyone have any experience of replacing the mirror glass (only) in a rear view mirror? I would like to keep the original frame and mount if possible... Mine managed to detach itself from the windshield in the heat of the day, and then fall directly onto the gear stick knob, smashing in the proc...

I'm looking for a bonnet badge in reasonable condition (not chipped or cracked etc). Mine is now red after being swapped a long time ago, so willing to part-exchange or swap as required for an orange one. Thanks.

Has anyone had any experience(s) of the electric fuel pump from Porsche (the three nozzles for MFI)? Seems to have a very low pressure delivery, not sustainable to keep the engine running at approx 5 PSI. Interested to hear if anyone has had the same of recent.

Ah I see. Mine are used, I brought them back in '07, have done a couple of thousand miles. I'm planning on flushing them with petrol and polishing them back up before hitting the road this summer, I'm very happy with them apart from this missing additional manifold for the MFI ! I'm down in south Lo...

Yes that's true, as the MFI pump only needs the >80°c input into it's thermostat,. However just that I would like to have the whole set-up as original as possible.

This is the MFI version (with the additional MFI take-off circled in green for reference).

Ok, thanks for the info! Consensus seems to be that even though Dansk now have taken over and make the SSIs, they are still better quality I hear... Still the same clearance issues these days do we know? Robfrost; Can I ask what condition are your SSIs in and are you interested in exchanging for my ...

They should fit from the 2.0 up to the 2.7 I believe. Do you have a photo of them at all? That would be most helpful.
