Re: vapour lock?

Hi Jason. Possibly a bit of a red herring suggestion, but as electrical gremlins can cause all sorts of weird ones, but have a look at the contacts in the dizzy cap and give them a scrape/light sand if they're covered in crap. Similarly rotor arm. I had some odd hesitation recently that I chased thr...

Classic Porsche - Paul Davies

Hi
I'd like to contact Paul Davies from Classic Porsche in connection with an article that he wrote a while ago. I was just wondering if he is actually a member here. If not, would anyone be able to send me his details please? Maybe Keith if you see this?
Many thanks
Will

Asking $250k USD. Does this sound about right?
You can buy my 67s with non-matching numbers for a lot less if you'd like.

Re: Naming and Shaming

Didn't realise you still had it ! Sometimes I wonder myself... Andy do you still have your lovely alfa giulietta sprint? Such a pretty car. What are costs like on those? As for MGBs - not really my thing I'm afraid. To be honest I already own the perfect classic -a 1964 Lotus Super 7. Bits are most...

Re: Naming and Shaming

Quite honestly I'm just fed up with all the nonsense and poor service that seems to be out there generally with old cars. I've had my emperor's new clothes moment and I think I'm done with it now. I'll either buy something (i) old but cheaper where "matching numbers" dont matter and parts ...

Naming and Shaming

Chaps, is airing a complaint about porsche specialists/services on here accepted or is it something that DDK would rather not see on the forum?

Cheers

Re: Early Inner door tops.

Ahoy hoy. Would some kind soul tell me what "OG" means? I assume it means "oiriginal" or similar. But what does the "O" and , in a similar vein, the "G" actually stand for? Somebody once said it meant "original ganster" which is clearly ridiculous. C...

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?

Took Cayman out for a 125-mile 'bonding' experience. Favourite roads from home to Launceston on to Bideford then down A39 to Camelford, back to Bodmin and home. Loved every mile. https://s5.postimg.org/xg07tg7mf/P1140183.jpg Nice pic Keith, I grew up about 5 mins walk from where you're parked up. M...

I found this recently and enjoyed it - a take on le mans 1982 https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p05bxkyd/tuesday-documentary-24-hours-at-le-mans Hi Jason, hope you are well. Many thanks for this one. I had hoped it would be the one from that time about the Nimrod at LM. I'd love to see that one...
