I know what you mean abot the M25......
I have to say the sight of your 914 made the frustration on the anticlockwise side more bareable, but to brief. It looked great.
Next time I may be in mine and give a bit of interest to your side of the fence!

Tangerine 914/4 Stuck in the M25 Jam
Spotted a great looking tangerine 914/4 stuck on the M25 clockwise between Jnct 6 an 7 Friday 11th April.
The sighting certainly lifted my spirits on the preverbial nightmare run home on a Friday afternoon!
Cheers

Re: 914/4 Prices
Hi John, I went through the very same puzzle as you are now. I had the intention of going out and getting a bulk std 2.0l 73 or earlier for classic car rallies. I had discounted the other engine sizes purely for the fun factor. I was lucky enough to be a co-driver in a few events with my mate in his...

Re: on the road ?
Me too - did a round trip to Le Mans this year with an extended trip back via Normandy. Also use it once a week as a treat to work (weather permitting) - 100 mile round trip. Although the fuel bill is a little steep :-(. Below is a it all stickered up for Le Mans..... http://sijo.smugmug.com/Events/...

Importing a US 'Salvage' Car
Does anyone know if when importing a Salvaged car from the US, the 'salvaged' description is lost when the car is re-registered in the UK? Would the Salvage still be stated on the V5 in anyway? My mate is looking at a 914-6 conversion in the states where the engine was knicked and he had to buy the ...

Re: Will I fit?!
I'm 6'3" and 15 stone and my mate is 6'4" and nearer 16 stone. We both fit in fine and have survived a weeks rallying together.
You should be fine. I've got a momo wheel which probably helps....
Good luck

Re: Planning a 914 purchase - advice appreciated!
Your search wants to be for a good rust free car to start . If and when you find one then assess how close to your ideal spec it is and do the maths on initial outlay and any upgrades you would like. Once you own a running roadworthy 914 it is upgradeable over time while you enjoy it , if you set o...

Soz it took so long, all this cr@ppy weather has meant the car wasn't out of the garage until today! Below are some piccies of my seats done by Cass Bros, Bromley.
