Re: FINAL CALL FOR ABINGDON TRACK DAY
Moggy, I've got the details for my 6in rims; 6in x 15in rims PCD = 5 x 130 ET = 26 My personal opinion is that the ET can be adjusted to get the rims further out as there is loads of room! ET26 is the standard 914-6 configuration. The piccy below is with 6in at the front and 7in at the back. http://...

I'll get the offsets my 7in rims are tomorrow. They should be a good guide as I've also got the GT flares.

Was a pleasure Dave, thanks for organising. Did it give you food for thought on the next bit of work on your car?
Next time the brakes will be upto scratch.
See you on the next DDK outing.

Re: FINAL CALL FOR ABINGDON TRACK DAY
Hello All, Cheers to Dave for organising, was a blast and was great to meet and put faces to some of the names on DDK at long last. It was my first DDK, and was great to chat about all things 914's etc. Daves (x2), Moggy, Neil and Jonathan. I have to admit I had lots of things crossed for the two Da...

Re: FINAL CALL FOR ABINGDON TRACK DAY
One more question - the 100dB's limit. How exacting / rigourous with the test do you think they'll be??? Does anyone have any experience? I passed a 98dB's a year ago with the meter twice as far away as it should have been and at half the revs! Unfortunately we're at a disadvantage with the engines ...

Re: FINAL CALL FOR ABINGDON TRACK DAY
It's 50/50 to whether my mate is coming, but either way I'll have a spare seat for a few laps if anyone fancies a few laps..... Is anyone taking out extra track insurance?? Can't believe the weather, may even take the roof off. Might have to anyway due to the helmet! 8) See you bright and early on F...

Re: Steering Column Click - Any Ideas
Hi Wayne,
Thanks for the guidance, and any pointers are invaluable.
I haven't taken them apart so will be trying to source some new UJ's!!
Will chase up your possible supply route, but by the sounds of it, I may have the click for a while if they are difficult to find!!
Cheers

Steering Column Click - Any Ideas
Hello All, Now that the sun is out and the the car is getting a dust down ready for Abingdon. There is one issue that has been bugging me. My steering column is solid with no play, it passed the MOT fine but it clicks every now and again. It does it most when parking up, when the column is under the...
